The Severnside Sirens were tested slightly later than usual today (03.03.24) due to human error.
The sirens warn people of incidents involving dangerous substances in Avonmouth and are normally tested at 3pm on the 3rd day of the month.
We'd like to apologise for any concern caused.

The Severnside Siren System is maintained by the Severnside Sirens Trust which is an independent charitable organisation.
